Russell Bula
Russell is GCP’s Vice-President of Sales. He has over 30 years of experience in the industrial products marketplace, leading new market development in North America and Europe for products that enhance customer offerings. Russell carries a mechanical engineering degree from Carleton University, fully understanding product and quality needs of customers in a variety of applications. He develops markets and analyzes business cases at a core product level, selling customers the product required for the specific application.
Paul Kling
Paul manages sales for the company in our Northern United States region. He has nearly twenty-five years of sales and marketing experience in the industrial products arena. Paul's business experience and technical expertise in plastics, thermoplastics and rubber products span across a variety of specialty areas.
Craig Mottershead
Craig has been GCP’s Marketing Programs Coordinator since arriving with his BBA in 2007. His blend of creativity, innovation, and desire to improve complements GCP’s teamwork philosophy and paved the way for our Active Customer Engagement (ACE) communication strategy. His goal is to provide our customers with customized information so they can anticipate and then react to the changes in their marketplace. Whether it's customer webinars, website interaction, social media, or branding strategy, Craig maintains an honest and customer-centered approach.
Robert Penn
Robert manages sales for the company in our Gulf Coast region. He has over 20 years experience in distributor, manufacturing, and wholesale sales servicing the petro-chemical, automotive, mining, and oil-field markets.
Nathan Pike
The leader of GCP’s young and dynamic marketing team, Nathan is our Director of Finance and Marketing. After coming to GCP as a business co-op student at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2003, he has grown with the company to serve many roles, now a leader both in the office and the community. Nathan understands the variables at play with respect to sourcing in the global economy and is focused on fostering unprecedented growth for customers and suppliers in the GCP network. Recently, Nathan earned his MBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business, further building skills in international business, accounting, and account management.
George Qu
With highly specialized product development skills honed through 15 years of experience in his field, George is a valuable part of the GCP team as our Director of China Operations. He takes a keen eye to ensuring GCP remains competitive in specific product markets by working closely with our factories in China and solving any problems that arise. Going forward, George will be further identifying quality suppliers and building long lasting relationships as both sides work together. George has a hybrid technical and business background, carrying an undergraduate degree from Tsinghua University (Beijing) in chemical engineering as well as an MBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business.
Melanie Tonkin
As GCP’s Logistics Manager since 2005, Melanie has been vital to developing our extensive Asia-North America shipping network, also serving on our operations management team. She is organized and proactive in understanding North American customs and ISF requirements, leveraging this into the best freight rates and lead times for GCP’s customers. Melanie’s role is multi-faceted – she arranges production, communicates vital factors and product inspections, identifies risks at early stages, and provides customers with key shipping updates on a weekly basis.
Tony Yang
As the China Sourcing Manager for the company, Tony is responsible for sourcing manufactures and industrial products from China with supreme quality and delivery conditions. Tony brings 12 years of business experience in China to the company.
