The Risk-Free Sourcing SolutionTM is designed to source standard or unique products in a timely and cost efficient manner. Through our program we are able to match a suppliers capability to a customers product requirments, delivering the best products possible at a competitive price point. Our experience has proven that successful sourcing begins with knowing the vital information for your company, product, application and communication needs. It is the up-front work which makes the difference between a Chinese product and a "North American product made in China." GCP has already sourced a number of specialty products including hook and loop fastener (Velcro), ceramic tile, and slurry pump replacement parts just to name a few.
The program takes each of our customers through a seven step order process that will ensure our customers receive the products they ordered exactly to the specifications they require. The following is a brief step-by-step breakdown of what our customers must go through in order to receive the benefits so many of GCP's many valued customers already enjoy today.

7. The Vital Factors Confirmation - Quick, follow-up to ensure everything has been delivered as specified.
The Risk Assessment ProfileTM or Risk/Reward Analysis is to ensure the customer will guarantee GCP a specified level of business, so GCP is not wasting anyone's time. The Cost of Poor Quality Analysis or Russian Roulette Method of Sourcing is the alternative to GCP's "Risk-Free" method, where organizations essentially take a shot in the dark and hope what they bring over from China will work. Historically 20 percent of the time it might work where as the other 80 percent you will end up with unusable product and thousands of dollars lost. However with GCP this step takes the time to explain what the cost of that poor quality is to that customer. This is achieved by calculating the hard and soft costs of importing cheep quality foreign product and how it negatively affects the customers business. The idea is to move the customer away from focusing just on price point and get them thinking outside the box that there is a smarter way to source industrial products from overseas.
The Vital Factors ChecklistTM is a document that allows us to gather detailed product specifications and all packaging/labelling requirements before the customer places the order. Once the document is completed we then match our customer's unique requirements to a GCP Approved SuppliersTM that meets their needs. The result, is the customer's order arrives exactly as specified and required.
The Real Savings FormulaTM is to ensure the savings we are providing are infact real, we confirm the pricing, deliver product samples and test reports so that you can calculate your total savings.
The Risk-Free Trial OrderTM is the next step in the Risk-Free sourcing process. After approving the product samples, we ask you to place an order for a trial quantity to confirm acceptable performance. It is risk free because if the product does not perform then you do not pay. If it works, you pay and proceed to a full container, where your savings really begin!
The Real Savings ExperienceTM is essentially the order, this is the stage where the customer realizes the total benefits of doing business with GCP. Along with great pricing and excellent product quality, the customer is given weekly updates on their shipment and their own personal login to GCP's NetSuite system.
The Vital Factors ConfirmationTM is the quality confirmation step, whereby a GCP team mamber will call you to ask if the product you received matchs the information you provided on the The Vital Factors ChecklistTM. If anything is not up to your standards, tell us and GCP's Quality Management Program kickes into high gear, to resolve any issues quickly. Either way, GCP communicates your feed-back to the supplier, to be ready for your next shipment.
*'Risk-Free' means that if the product does not match up to the product specifications and order details as agreed upon on the Vital Factors checklist then a credit maybe claimed and a refund for the value of the product maybe issued.
