1999-2001

1999 – In August GCP Elastomeric was incorporated by Gary Mottershead

1999 – In October our our first sheet rubber is received
1999 – The Premlene brand is established
2000 – In March Gary took his first trip to China as GCP

 

2002-2004

2002 – Expanded our sales into the U.S.

2004 – Key team members are added to manage GCP’s sourcing, logistics, finance and sales
2004 – Gary challenges the company to it’s first 10x growth goal

 

2005-2007

2007 – Key team members are added to manage marketing, admin/HR and sales

2007 – GCP establishes it’s first full time employee in China
2007 – Formalized and launched The Risk-Free Sourcing Solution

 

2008-2010

2008 – Surpass 10 million in annual sales

2008 – More U.S. sales support added

 

2011-2013

2011 – Updated GCP company logo and name
2012 – GCP China office officially opens

2012 – Expanded staff in both Canada and China
2012 – Purchased the intellectual property, formulations and molds for Rubatex sponge rubber
2013 – Named as one of Canada’s Top 500 Fastest Growing Companies

 

2014-2016

2014 – Achieved Gary’s 10x growth goal set in 2004

2014 – Relaunched Rubatex with production in U.S.
2015 – Introduced our National Silicone brand
2015 – Named one of Canada’s Top 500 Fastest Growing Companies for the 2nd time
2016 – Named one of Canada’s Top 500 Fastest Growing Companies for the 3nd time
2016 – Continue to add to our sales team, introducing reps in Mexico, NW US, NE US

 

2017-2018

2017 – Product focused websites launched for Premlene Sheet Rubber, National Silicone and Rubatex Sponge Rubber

2017 – Gary authored two books – The Right-Shoring Advantage and Guanxi
2018 – GCP HQ goes through major renovations
