Our March 2021 production times measure the change in days an average order will take to produce from time it is submitted, this includes the time it takes to book a container. However, it excludes ocean shipping and other transit times. Meaning, the lower the number the quicker we expect to produce an order and have it ready to ship.
The average expected production time for all GCP products in January is 67 days. Up 6 days from pre-Chinese New Year shutdown levels.
Our facilities are operating at capacities but are experiencing some normal labor shortages as workers return from there celebrations at home. Our initial expectations were that production times could begin to dissipate shortly after the Chinese New Year holidays. However, with global demand sky high and continued shortages of shipping containers we are expecting production times to remain elevated through out the rest of Q1 and into Q2.
