Prior to the Holidays, we wanted to reach out on behalf of the whole GCP team and say Thank You!
2020 has tested us all in many ways, but collectively we have been resilient. We are now in the final stretch of the year and we can’t help but positively reflect on how far we have come from the lows earlier this year.
We simply could not have done it without our customer partners. Our relationship with each of you is important to all of us at GCP. We want to make sure you understand how much we appreciate everything you have done to support us.
We are aware that there will continue to be challenges coming into the New Year. The COVID-19 pandemic introduced unprecedented uncertainty, creating a variety of complicated supply/demand imbalances across the supply chain (including with raw material supply, manufacturing, freight, exchange rates and downstream demand, production and stocking levels).
We have seen demand in many industries come back strong since last summer, and expect this to translate to upward cost pressure on our Premlene Sheet Rubber and Engineered Structure product lines early in the New Year.
GCP continues to focus on fostering long-term mutually beneficial relationships with our key partners so that we all can succeed. We feel it is times like this that allow us to leverage our relationships and find ways to work through these challenges together.
We will be working with our factory partners over the next couple of weeks to get a clearer picture and more concrete direction to discuss with you in early January.
